Creativ Coach
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Creativ Coach collects, how it is used, and your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Who we are
Creativ Coach is operated by Adelaide Audio Institute Pty Ltd (ABN: 24 798 063 363), 285 South Road, Mile End South SA 5031, Australia. Contact: ben@adelaideaudioinstitute.com.
What we collect
- Account information — username, email address, and (if you use Google sign-in) your Google account ID and email.
- Creative content — the messages you send to the Coach during your sessions. This content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses.
- Usage data — session activity, workflow stage progress, creative profile (strengths, blocks, project history). Stored in your account so the Coach can build context over time.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; Stripe holds this data under their own privacy policy.
We do not use cookies. Session data is stored in your browser's localStorage and on our server.
How we use it
- To provide the Creativ Coach service — coaching conversations, workflow tracking, and the artist profile.
- To send weekly coaching nudge emails, if you opt in to this feature.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To investigate and fix technical issues (server logs, error monitoring via Sentry).
- To understand how the app is used and improve it (analytics via Microsoft Clarity and PostHog).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your creative content to train AI models.
Third parties we share data with
- Anthropic — your chat messages are sent to the Claude API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Railway — our hosting provider. Your data is stored on Railway's infrastructure. Railway's privacy policy: railway.app/legal/privacy.
- Google — if you use Google sign-in, Google shares your account ID and email with us under their OAuth flow.
- Resend — if you opt in to email nudges, your email address is passed to Resend to send those emails.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions.
- Sentry — error monitoring. Error reports may include technical context (request paths, error messages) but not your creative content or personal information.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap analytics. Clarity may record your interactions with the app, including text visible on screen during your session. Microsoft's privacy policy applies: privacy.microsoft.com.
- PostHog — product analytics. PostHog records events such as logging in, creating projects, and viewing the upgrade screen, to help us understand how the app is used. PostHog's privacy policy: posthog.com/privacy.
Data retention
Your account data (profile, projects, creative history) is kept for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing ben@adelaideaudioinstitute.com and we will delete your data within 30 days.
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging purposes.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Complain about how we handle your information to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Children
Creativ Coach is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
